Is the Tower 302 the right dispenser for your build?

The 302 has self-serve and push-button variants, plus 5- and 6-valve siblings. Answer 3 questions and we'll either confirm this one or point you to the right sister.

1. What's the situation?

2. Who pulls the drink — customer or staff?

3. How many flavors do you need on tap?

4. About how many drinks per day at peak?

2. What dispenser are you replacing?

3. Why are you replacing it?

Build the complete 2-valve install in one click

The 302 is the tower head — sized for a counter cold plate or ice well. To actually pour drinks you also need a CO₂ supply, regulator, carbonator, BIB rack, syrup pumps, water filter, backflow preventer, and tubing. We've pre-specced all of it. Uncheck what you already have.

Complete Lancer 302 install bundle (2-valve)

Required + recommended components per Lancer's install guide. The 302 chills via external cold plate or ice bath — your existing bar setup typically has this.

Same chassis, different valve types & flavor counts

All four are tower-style island base dispensers built on the same 24V LEV platform. Pick by valve type (self-serve vs push-button) and flavor count.

    Inside the Tower 302

Five things you connect, no internal cooling

The 302 is a tower-style dispenser — it sits on top of a counter cold plate or in an ice bath. Water + CO₂ + syrup + power come in from below.

    • 3

    • 4
Cold plate or ice bath (external)The 302 has no internal cooling — it relies on the bar's existing counter cold plate or a flooded ice well. Lines pre-chill before they reach the valves.

    Before your installer shows up

    Pre-install checklist

Seven things to confirm before the truck arrives. Saves a return visit.

External cold plate or ice wellThe 302 has no internal cooling. Most bar wells already have one — confirm yours does, or budget for a counter cold plate.
115V outlet within 6 ftFor the 24V transformer that ships with the tower. Standard residential receptacle is fine.
Cold water line, 1/4" min40+ PSI flowing. If under 40, add the booster pump from the bundle.
Floor drain with air gap3/8" line. Code requires the air gap — don't hard-pipe.
CO₂ supply staged20 lb tank fits under most counters. Fill at a local welding/beverage gas supplier.
Tower mount footprint~9-1/2" wide × ~13" deep on the counter. Plumbing comes up through the counter to the tower base.
BIB shelf / under-counter spaceOne BIB rack (~24" × 12") holds the 2 syrup boxes for this tower.
    Common questions

What buyers ask before they pull the trigger

Same chassis, same valves, different actuator. The self-serve LEV uses a customer-facing lever — push the cup against the lever to pour. Push-button is operated by a crew member behind the counter (no cup contact, just press & release). Self-serve is the right call for fountain stations where customers fill their own cups; push-button suits bar drive-thrus and crew-served counters. They're priced about $25 apart.
No — and this is the most common surprise. The 302 is a tower head only. It mounts above (or in) an external cold plate or ice bath. Most bar wells and counter-mount stations already have a cold plate built in. If yours doesn't, budget for a separate counter cold plate. Call our techs and we'll spec one to fit your setup.
No. The 302 is the tower only. You also need a carbonator (we ship the McCann's Big Mac), CO₂ supply, regulator, syrup pumps, BIB racks, and tubing. The bundle above pre-specs all of it from Lancer's install guide.
No special wiring. The 302 ships with a 24V transformer that plugs into a standard 115V receptacle. The 24V is just what the LEV solenoid valves run on internally. Same household outlet you'd use for any small appliance.
No — the 302 chassis is hard-built for 2 valves. If you think you'll grow past 2 flavors within a year or two, step up to the 305 (5-valve) or 306 (6-valve) instead. Same tower platform, same install pattern, just more capacity. We can quote both side by side.
Daily: wipe nozzles and the drip tray, sanitize valve faces. Weekly: chemical syrup-line cleaning per BIB. Quarterly: change the BEV135 water filter and inspect the backflow preventer. We sell the cleaning kits — call our techs if you want a maintenance bundle priced out.
Lancer factory warranty is 1 year parts and labor on the tower. We stock the 302 — most orders ship same-day if placed before 2pm CT, ground transit 3–5 days to most US zips. International freight available, call for a quote.

    Still unsure? Call the techs.

You're spending $3K+ on a 10-year piece of equipment. A 5-minute call with someone who's installed 200 of these is free, and almost always cheaper than the wrong order.
