The Weldless 16" Stainless Sight Gauge is a professional volume-tracking upgrade for any brewing kettle or mash tun. This kit features a borosilicate glass tube protected by a stainless steel shield and includes a weldless bulkhead assembly for easy installation in any vessel by drilling a single 1/2" hole. It allows for precise monitoring of pre-boil and post-boil volumes, which is critical for hitting your target gravity and batch sizes.
Installation Tip: Use a step-drill bit to create a clean, burr-free 1/2" hole. When installing the silicone seals, ensure they are seated flat against the kettle wall. Hand-tighten the internal nut, then finish with a 1/4 turn of a wrench. Do not over-tighten, as it can pinch the gaskets and cause leaks.
