This Thick-Wall Vinyl Beverage Tubing is engineered for professional draft beer and soda systems. Featuring a 1/4" internal diameter and an extra-thick 1/8" wall (1/2" OD), it provides superior insulation and pressure stability compared to standard tubing. The thick wall prevents "ballooning" under high pressures and reduces temperature fluctuations, which is critical for minimizing foam. Made from high-purity, food-grade PVC, it is flavor-neutral and NSF-certified.
Draft Balancing Tip: 1/4" ID tubing provides approximately 0.85 PSI of resistance per foot. For a standard 12 PSI setup, you will need a significantly longer run (approx. 12-14 feet) compared to 3/16" line. This larger diameter is ideal for high-volume service where a faster pour rate is desired. Always secure to 1/4" barbs with Oetiker stepless clamps for a 100% leak-proof seal.
