This 5/16" ID tubing features a specialized thermoplastic liner that provides an exceptional oxygen barrier and zero flavor absorption, ensuring your beer or wine stays fresh for longer. Unlike standard vinyl, Ultra Barrier is heat-resistant and 100% antimicrobial, making it the superior choice for high-volume commercial draught systems where sanitation and flavor integrity are paramount.
Technician's Installation Tip: Because it is PVC-free and BPA-free, this tubing is slightly stiffer than vinyl. To ensure a 100% leak-proof seal on 5/16" or 3/8" barbs, soak the end of the tubing in hot water for 60 seconds to soften the liner before pushing it onto the fitting. Always secure with an Oetiker stepless clamp for permanent reliability in pressurized gas or liquid systems.
