The specialized "Y" design provides a smoother flow path with less turbulence and resistance compared to standard "T" fittings, making it ideal for high-volume liquid trunk lines. Constructed from food-grade stainless steel, it is 100% flavor-neutral and highly resistant to corrosion from acidic beverages and harsh brewery cleaners. Precision serrated barbs ensuring a pressure-tight seal.
Technician's Note: The "Y" orientation is superior for multi-tap manifolds as it reduces foaming by maintaining a more laminar flow. To ensures a 100% leak-proof seal, use a dedicated tube cutter for a square cut on your tubing and secure all three barbs with Oetiker stepless clamps. The 3/8" size is standard for high-flow commercial draught systems.
