The 17.5mm Oetiker Stepless Ear Clamp is the professional choice for permanent, leak-proof tubing connections in draught and gas systems. Unlike standard worm-gear clamps, the Oetiker design provides a 360-degree seal with uniform compression, preventing the "bunching" of tubing that causes slow leaks. Constructed from 304 stainless steel, it is resistant to rust and corrosion, making it ideal for the high-moisture environments of kegerators and soda fountains.
Installation Note: This is a "one-time use" clamp. It requires a dedicated Oetiker Pincer Tool to crimp the "ear" for a permanent lock. The 17.5mm size is typically used for 3/8" ID vinyl or reinforced beverage tubing. To remove, simply use side cutters to snip the ear and slide the clamp off.
