The 304 Stainless Steel Draft Beer Shank is the professional choice for mounting beer faucets through draft towers or cooler walls. Unlike chrome-plated brass shanks that can pit and leach metal over time, this assembly features a 100% 304 stainless steel path. This ensures zero flavor impact and maximum resistance to corrosion from acidic beverages like wine, cider, and kombucha. This standard-sized assembly includes the shank, flange, lock nut, and plastic tailpiece for a complete installation.
Draft Installation Note: This shank requires a 1" diameter hole for mounting. Ensure the black plastic flange is placed on the outside of the mounting surface to provide a clean aesthetic. Tighten the internal lock-nut firmly with a faucet wrench to prevent the shank from rotating when you open the tap. The 304SS construction is safe for all commercial beer line cleaners and will not pit or tarnish.
