After trying a number of designs from overseas, none of which fit our probes properly, we created our own! Made in the USA, this Threaded Shielded Thermowell is designed to shield your probes wire from flames from underneath your kettle. For use with the digital temperature controllers, FE610, FE610A, or FE608, in any vessel that has a 1/2" FPT coupler. This accepts the common 1/4" diameter probes. This will work great for turning a stainless mash tun that has a thermometer into digital smart system without added welding. This item is 9 ¼" in length overall from the end of the thermowell to the end of the heat shield. The thermowell itself is 5" in length that will be inside your vessel.
