How the pendulum works
Inside the column is a weighted steel pendulum on a single pivot. When the base meets an uneven surface, the pendulum swings to the low side and loads the foot that would otherwise be floating. The table finds its own level under its own weight — there is no setting to dial in and no lock to release. Bump the table, move it, or drag it across a patio, and the mechanism resets itself every time.
