The Lancer Panel Assembly for Flavor Shots is a precision membrane switch interface. It uses an ultra-thin, multilayered tactile design that allows the user to select 'bonus' flavors (Vanilla, Cherry, etc.) on units equipped with Flavor Shot technology. The assembly includes the graphical overlay and the pressure-sensitive contact points.
Symptoms of Failure: If the 'Flavor Shot' buttons feel flat, don't 'click,' or if pressing a specific flavor results in no action (or the wrong flavor), the membrane has likely developed a hairline crack in the silver circuit traces. This is usually caused by excessive force or cleaning with sharp objects.
