Compatibility
Use cube ice. Lancer states the dispenser operates properly only with cube ice and does not recommend shaved or flake ice. Set the unit on a level counter, within 5 ft of a drain and near a grounded outlet on its own circuit. NSF listed units must be sealed to the counter with an FDA approved sealant or set on 4 in legs. If no ice machine is fitted, leave at least 16 in above the unit for filling from a bucket. A top-mounted ice machine needs an adapter plate and a bin thermostat. The water line must be at least 3/8 in with 25 PSI minimum; pressure above 50 PSI must be reduced with a regulator. Clean and sanitize the ice bin at start-up and monthly.

A water line of at least 3/8 in with a minimum of 25 PSI, connected to the 3/8 in barb plain water inlet at the front of the unit. Pressure above 50 PSI must be reduced to 50 PSI with a regulator.
How often does the dispenser need cleaning?
Lancer calls for ice bin cleaning and sanitizing at start-up and monthly, and recommends cleaning the ice chute monthly. Exterior surfaces and the drip tray are cleaned daily with a mild detergent solution.
