The Lancer Black Valve Cover (05-3240-SP) is the outer protective housing for GMV and Versa-Pour dispensing valves. It serves as a sanitary shield for the internal solenoids, brix adjusters, and flow modules, protecting them from external syrup splash, cleaning chemicals, and physical impact.
Problem Solved: Replaces cracked, stained, or missing valve covers. Beyond aesthetics, a broken cover allows moisture to reach the electrical solenoid terminals, leading to corrosion and 'ghost' pours. This cover is molded from chemical-resistant plastic that won't become brittle after repeated sanitization.
Technician’s Note: The snap-tabs on these covers are easy to break if you pry them too hard. Use a gentle upward pressure while depressing the locking tab. If the cover is loose, it will vibrate and cause annoying customer-facing noise.
