The Hoshizaki KMD-410MWJ is a modular commercial ice machine head that produces up to 449 pounds of crescent cube ice per day. As a head unit it stacks onto a matching Hoshizaki storage bin (sold separately), letting you size production and storage independently for your space and volume. Hoshizaki's signature crescent cube is dense and slow-melting with a high ice-to-water ratio, so it chills drinks fast, displaces more volume in the glass, and won't water down the pour.
Engineered for continuous duty, it is built around a corrosion-resistant stainless steel evaporator and a water-cooled refrigeration system running on R404A refrigerant. If ambient conditions are optimal, this unit creates 449 pounds of ice daily, but it makes closer to 436 pounds per day when conditions are less than ideal. This ice maker is designed for use with an ice and beverage dispenser, which is sold separately.
