Overview
The Hoshizaki KM-301BWJ is a self-contained commercial ice machine that produces up to 285 pounds of crescent cube ice per day and stores it in an integrated 100 lb bin, so a busy bar, restaurant, cafe, or healthcare kitchen stays stocked through peak service without a separate storage bin or remote condenser. Hoshizaki's signature crescent cube is dense and slow-melting with a high ice-to-water ratio, so it chills drinks fast, displaces more volume in the glass, and won't water down the pour.
Engineered for years of continuous foodservice duty, it is built around a corrosion-resistant stainless steel evaporator and a water-cooled refrigeration system running on R404A refrigerant, with a stainless exterior that wipes clean between cleanings. Hoshizaki's reputation for reliability and long service life makes it a specify-once machine for operators who can't afford ice downtime.

About Hoshizaki
Founded in Japan in 1947, Hoshizaki engineered the country’s first fully automatic ice machine in 1965 and has spent the decades since becoming one of the most trusted names in commercial ice and refrigeration. In the U.S., Hoshizaki has designed and built equipment since 1981 — today across two Georgia manufacturing plants, 1,000+ employees, and 18 North American distribution centers standing behind every unit.
The reputation is built on engineering, not marketing: corrosion-resistant stainless steel evaporators, EverCheck™ onboard diagnostics, and H-Guard Plus antimicrobial protection — backed by ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification, repeated ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year recognition, and some of the strongest warranties in the category. It’s why operators who run ice around the clock keep specifying Hoshizaki.
