About Hoshizaki
Founded in Japan in 1947, Hoshizaki engineered the country’s first fully automatic ice machine in 1965 and has spent the decades since becoming one of the most trusted names in commercial ice and refrigeration. In the U.S., Hoshizaki has designed and built equipment since 1981 — today across two Georgia manufacturing plants, 1,000+ employees, and 18 North American distribution centers standing behind every unit.
The reputation is built on engineering, not marketing: corrosion-resistant stainless steel evaporators, EverCheck™ onboard diagnostics, and H-Guard Plus antimicrobial protection — backed by ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification, repeated ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year recognition, and some of the strongest warranties in the category. It’s why operators who run ice around the clock keep specifying Hoshizaki.
