The hex-nut profile allows for secure tightening with a standard wrench, making it the professional choice for long-term system reconfiguration or maintenance.
Technician's Note: All flare-to-flare connections require a nylon flare washer (sold separately) to creates a 100% gas-tight seal. Hand-tighten until snug, then use a wrench for a final 1/4 turn. These caps are indispensable for isolating parts of a draught system during leak testing or when a keg line is being removed for extended periods.
