The Replacement Carbonation Tester Gauge is a high-precision diagnostic component for professional draught quality control. Specifically designed to fit standard beer carbonation testers, this gauge reads from 0-60 PSI, allowing technicians to accurately measure the CO2 levels in finished beer. Achieving the correct CO2 volume is critical for maintaining flavor profiles and preventing foam issues. Constructed with high-durability internals to withstand the repeated cycles of a busy brewery lab.
Technician's Note: When installing the new gauge, use a small amount of oxygen-safe PTFE tape on the 1/4" NPT threads to ensures a gas-tight seal. Periodically calibrate this gauge against a known primary regulator. Clean the tester's internal seals after each use to prevent protein buildup from affecting the accuracy of the pressure reading.
