The 7-gallon capacity provides superior headspace to prevent blow-offs, even during active fermentation. Constructed from high-clarity, BPA-free PET, this carboy features a wide-mouth opening for effortless cleaning and addition of dry hops or fruit. This kit includes the carboy, a #10 rubber stopper, and a twin-bubble airlock for a 100% airtight seal.
Fermentation Pro-Tip: The wide mouth allows you to reach inside for scrubbing, but always use a soft cloth or sponge—avoid abrasive pads to prevent scratching the PET. When moving a full fermenter, support it from the bottom rather than the neck to ensure the structural integrity of the plastic over years of use.
