This 6-inch Stainless Steel Thermowell is designed for sanitary temperature monitoring in smaller fermenters and brite tanks. It features a 1.5" Tri-Clamp cap with an integrated compression fitting, allowing the thermowell probe to be inserted into the tank while maintaining a 100% pressure-tight seal. Constructed from 304 stainless steel, it is compatible with most standard digital temperature probes, ensuring your controller is reading the core temperature of the wort.
Sanitary Pro-Tip: The compression fitting on the cap allows you to adjust the insertion depth slightly to ensure the probe is fully submerged in the liquid. Before installation, ensure the internal bore of the thermowell is dry. Moisture inside the well can cause probe failure or inaccurate readings due to condensation.
