Accuflex Clearbraid K3150 is a heavy-duty, reinforced PVC tubing designed for high-pressure beverage and industrial applications. This 5/16" ID tubing features a polyester braid reinforcement that allows for superior working pressures compared to standard vinyl. It is crystal clear for easy visual inspection of flow and is NSF-51 certified for food and beverage contact, making it ideal for CO2 gas lines and high-pressure water systems.
Technician's Installation Tip: Because of the internal braiding, this tubing is more rigid than standard vinyl. To ensure a leak-proof seal on barbs, soak the end of the tubing in very hot water for 60 seconds to soften the PVC before pushing it onto the fitting. Always secure with a worm-gear or Oetiker clamp for high-pressure gas service.
