The McCann's Multiplex 99-9012 Brix Cup is the industry-standard precision diagnostic tool for calibrating soda fountain brix ratios. Essential for beverage quality control, this dual-chambered cup allows technicians to simultaneously capture syrup and carbonated water to verify the specific gravity and mixing accuracy of dispensing valves. Featuring clearly marked scales for 5:1 and 5.5:1 ratios, this tool ensures that every drink served meets the exact sugar-to-water specifications required by major syrup manufacturers for perfect flavor consistency.
- Model: McCann's / Multiplex 99-9012
- Ratio Scales: Dual Calibration for 5:1 and 5.5:1 Syrup-to-Water Ratios
- Application: Post-mix soda valve calibration and brix ratio verification
- Compatibility: Works with all standard Lancer, Cornelius, and Multiplex dispenser valves
- Material: High-clarity, impact-resistant food-grade plastic
- Graduations: Precision-molded permanent markings for easy visual reading
- Function: Essential for maintaining "yield" and flavor profile in fountain systems
Technician's Note: To achieve an accurate brix reading, always ensure the soda dispenser has reached its "ice bank" or cooling set-point before testing, as temperature significantly affects fluid viscosity. When using the 99-9012, hold the cup directly under the nozzle so that the water and syrup fall into their respective chambers without splashing. If your "finished drink" tastes sour or watery, or if your syrup costs are unexpectedly high, use this cup to adjust the valve’s flow-control screws until the levels in both chambers align perfectly with the 5:1 or 5.5:1 mark.
