1/2" ID High Temperature Rated Food Grade Silicone Tubing for Brewing

EASIER & SAFER . I bought this food-grade, high-temperature silicone hose, because I got tired of having my old clear vinyl tubing collapse and close up when my fluids got too hot. Not only did a collapsed vinyl hose usually end up making a mess, but it was downright dangerous. Now, with my silicone hose, I can transfer hot liquids without worrying about a failure. And I run a safer brew!

I needed this to make a non pressurized pipe to pipe connection, it is high quality tubing and did exactly what I needed

While I was going through the process of upgrading my home brewhouse, I thought switching from an immersion chiller to a plate chiller would be a great upgrade. After months of figuring out how I will afford the upgrade on the meager salary I earn as a college student, the light at the end of the tunnel emerged and gave me what will forever be called “ the stimi” or stimulus money that the government gave us. With this money I started planning how to make my wort chiller upgrade come to fruition. Step one brought me to find this great hose to which I can now use to upgrade me system! I used this for the brewsilla pump through the wort chiller to the fermenter and it worked great. I like the fact that is hasn’t grown mold in the inside:)
