The Winco 1/4" Grinder Plate is a professional-grade replacement component for the MG-10 series commercial meat choppers. Featuring a 1/4-inch (approx. 6mm) hole size, this plate is ideal for producing a medium-coarse grind for burgers, chili meat, and certain sausages. Constructed from heavy-duty cast iron, it is engineered to withstand the high-torque demands of a busy deli or commercial kitchen. Precision-machined to ensure a flush fit with the grinder knife for efficient and clean processing.
Culinary Maintenance Tip: To prevent rust, never place cast iron grinder plates in the dishwasher. After use, hand-wash with warm water and dry immediately. For the best performance and to prevent oxidation during storage, apply a light coating of food-grade mineral oil to both sides of the plate. Replace the plate if you notice nicks or uneven wear to ensures a clean cut and prevent meat smearing.
