The 9BD series is engineered for high-pressure systems and features an atmospheric vent to signal seal failure. Essential for maintaining compliance with local health and plumbing codes in soda fountain and carbonated water installations.
Technician's Note: Install this valve inline between the water source and the carbonator pump. Ensure the flow arrow on the body points toward the beverage equipment. The 3/8" MFL connections allow for a tool-free, gas-tight seal using standard swivel nuts and flare washers. If water begins to drip from the atmospheric vent, the internal seals have failed and the unit should be replaced immediately.
