The T&S Brass B-3940-01 Twist Waste Valve is the foundational safety standard for basins requiring a 3" interface. Designed with a 3" sink opening and an integrated Overflow Assembly, it protects facilities against basin overfill and water damage. Constructed from heavy-duty cast bronze with a stainless steel strainer and faceplate, it is engineered for high-cycle industrial usage in independent restaurants and cafeteria sculleries. The remote twist-action provides a hygienic drainage solution without manual contact with waste water.
Maintenance Pro-Tip: The overflow assembly is a mandatory safety feature in many municipal jurisdictions. During installation, ensure the overflow head is mounted securely to the sink wall and the tubing is free of kinks. If the twist handle becomes difficult to turn, the internal plunger seal may need to be cleared of mineral scale. Includes 1-1/2" NPT adapter for universal fit. Polished stainless steel finish is resistant to grease and high heat.
