The T&S Brass B-3970-01 Lever Waste Valve is the foundational safety standard for large commercial basins. Designed with a 3-1/2" sink opening and an integrated Overflow Assembly, it protects facilities against basin overfill and water damage. The remote lever-action provides a hygienic solution for draining prep sinks without manual contact with waste water.
Technician’s Note: The overflow assembly is a mandatory safety feature in many municipal jurisdictions. During installation, ensure the overflow tubing is routed with a consistent slope to the drain body. Use a high-quality plumbing sealant on the 3-1/2" flange for a watertight basin seal. Polished stainless steel finish is resistant to grease and high heat common in professional dishrooms. Includes 1-1/2" NPT adapter for universal fit.
