The T&S Brass B-3972 Lever Waste Valve is a heavy-duty industrial workhorse for professional scullery basins. Featuring a 3-1/2" sink opening and a high-flow 2" NPT male outlet, it provides the rapid drainage required for massive commercial sinks. The lever-action remote control allows operators to drain the basin without reaching into hot or contaminated water, promoting superior workplace safety and hygiene. Constructed from durable cast bronze and stainless steel, it is designed for extreme longevity in demanding industrial environments.
Technician’s Note: The B-3972 is the industry standard for high-volume drainage. During installation, ensure the mounting flange is tightened hand-tight plus a quarter turn to prevent basin leaks. The 2" NPT outlet also features 1-1/2" female threads for maximum plumbing flexibility. Regularly inspect the internal plunger seat for food particles that can prevent a watertight seal. Polished stainless steel strainer provides a professional appearance.
