Technician’s Note: ASSE 1024 certification is a requirement for many commercial and medical plumbing inspections. The dual-check system prevents back-siphoning even if one seal is compromised. During installation, ensure the unit is oriented correctly according to the flow direction arrow on the body. Periodically check the check-valves for mineral scale to ensure a tight seal.
