The 17.0 mm Oetiker Stepless Ear Clamp is the professional choice for permanent, leak-proof tubing connections in draught systems. Unlike standard worm-gear clamps, the Oetiker design provides a 360-degree uniform seal with consistent compression, preventing the "bunching" of tubing that causes slow gas leaks. Constructed from high-quality 304 stainless steel, it is resistant to rust and corrosion, making it ideal for the high-moisture environments of walk-in coolers and soda fountain stations.
Installation Note: This is a "one-time use" clamp and requires a dedicated Oetiker Pincer Tool to crimp the "ear" for a permanent lock. The 17.0 mm size (Clamp Range: 14.5mm - 17.0mm) is specifically engineered for 5/16" ID thick-wall vinyl or 1/2" ID beverage hosing. To remove, use side cutters to snip the ear and slide the clamp off.
