Unlike standard worm-gear clamps, the Oetiker design provides a 360-degree uniform seal with consistent compression, preventing the "bunching" of tubing that causes slow gas leaks. Constructed from high-quality 304 stainless steel, it is resistant to rust and corrosion, making it ideal for the high-moisture environments of walk-in coolers and beverage stations.
Installation Note: This is a "one-time use" clamp and requires a dedicated Oetiker Pincer Tool to crimp the "ear" for a permanent lock. The 13.3 mm size (Clamp Range: 10.8mm - 13.3mm) is specifically engineered for standard 3/16" ID and 1/4" ID beverage hosing. To remove, use side cutters to snip the ear and slide the clamp off.
