The T&S Brass S-0968 Atmospheric Vacuum Breaker is an essential backflow prevention device for laboratory and medical environments. Maintenance Tip: Atmospheric vacuum breakers should never be under constant pressure (they must be downstream of a shut-off valve). If the unit begins to leak water from under the cap when the faucet is turned on, the internal float may be stuck or fouled. Periodic cleaning of the internal poppet ensures reliable safety and performance.
