It features a 3/16" hose barb on one end and a 3/8" barb on the other, allowing you to transition between standard trunk lines and individual tap lines without the need for multiple adapters. Constructed from high-quality 304 stainless steel, it provides a 100% flavor-neutral path and is highly resistant to corrosion from acidic beverages and harsh draught line cleaners.
Technician's Note: This reducer is ideal for connecting high-flow 3/8" main supply lines to standard 3/16" high-resistance tap lines. To ensure a 100% leak-proof seal, use a dedicated tube cutter for a square cut on your tubing and secure both barbs with Oetiker stepless clamps. The stainless steel construction ensures it will never pit or corrode in the high-moisture environment of a walk-in cooler.
