Works great and was a well needed addition to the brewery!

The opener works as described. No need to make any adjustments to the instrument which made opening and closing a Sankey keg easy. I heard some bad reviews claiming the threading strips over time but I don’t think that will happen unless you overly tighten the press. The press only needs to be tightened enough to allow the Sankey ball/spear ring(looks like a big metal key ring) to be accessed in its channel that is built into the keg. Once you see that the ring can be put into the channel/groove or removed then you know that the press has been tightened enough. I use a very small flat head screwdriver to gently lift out the ring until it twists out of the channel and of the keg. When putting the ring back on after cleaning/filling your keg you don’t need any tool except the press to keep the channel/slot open(it slips on like a regular metal key ring). Great tool and worth the money!
