Technician's Note: When replacing the C4004 assembly, ensure the water supply is shut off and the residual pressure is bled from the line. If your current rinser is "sticking" in the down position, it is often due to syrup or milk protein buildup within the actuator spring. While this polyethylene star is highly durable, we recommend a weekly soak in a mild, food-safe degreaser to maintain the smooth mechanical action of the internal piston and prevent "fountain" leaks during busy service shifts.
