The 1/2" Racking Cane Siphon Kit is designed for high-volume liquid transfers from fermenters to kegs or bottling buckets. The larger 1/2-inch diameter provides a significantly faster flow rate than standard 3/8" canes, reducing the time your beer is exposed to air. This kit includes the rigid acrylic cane, a sediment tip to keep trub out of your finished beer, and a flexible tubing section.
Technician's Note: Acrylic is brittle; never use this cane with liquids above 140°F (60°C). For the easiest sanitization, pull the sediment tip off and clean the internal bore with a long-handled brush. Use a 'Siphon Starter' or a manual pump to avoid introducing bacteria from your mouth.
