A glycol power pack is the heart of a long-draw draft beer system — it chills a propylene-glycol and water bath and circulates it through lines bundled alongside the beer lines, holding every pour at serving temperature from the keg cooler to the faucet, no matter how far the run. Propylene glycol is a non-toxic, food-grade antifreeze, and it never touches the beer.

The Micro Matic Pro-Line MMPP4302 is engineered by draft beer industry experts for installers and operators. A large, well-insulated glycol bath lets the compressor cycle less often — extending compressor life and cutting service calls — which is why Pro-Line power packs run everything from neighborhood bars to some of the highest-volume accounts in the world.

Specifications

  • Cooling capacity: 3,600 BTU
  • Compressor: 1/2 HP
  • Cooling agent: food-grade propylene glycol
  • Configurations: 1- or 2-pump; air-cooled, water-cooled, or remote condensing (choose your configuration above)
  • Refrigerant: R513a (units built after 3/1/2023)

Features

  • Sight glass — check glycol bath level without removing the lid.
  • Digital thermostat — accurate, easy-to-read glycol temperature display.
  • Rotary vane pumps — industry-standard, ultra-reliable, and easily serviced.
  • Thermally efficient bath — large capacity with expanded-foam insulation, so the unit runs less and saves energy.
  • Lift-off deck lid — fully assembled upper deck for easy serviceability.
  • Smart Draft™ — temperature monitoring that flags issues with the power pack or walk-in cooler in real time.

Sizing & setup

As a rule of thumb, plan for roughly 3/4 HP per 100 ft of insulated trunk-line run, adding headroom for high tap counts or hot mechanical rooms. Fill the bath at a 40% glycol / 60% distilled-water ratio — distilled water keeps impurities out of the thin-plate heat exchanger. Need help matching a unit to your run length and tap count? Warranty: 18-month parts and 1-year labor from date of sale, plus an additional 3-1/2 years on the compressor.
