If you have both ball lock and pin lock kegs, the fittings obviously are not universal.  Luckily flare fittings are!  Convert your gas and beverage fittings to flare rather than barb, then all you need to do is unscrew the flare nut from your ball lock fitting and screw it onto your pin lock fitting (or vise-versa).
