The T&S Brass B-3992 Modular Waste Drain is a heavy-duty industrial workhorse for professional sculleries and maintenance basins. Featuring a 3-1/2" sink opening and a high-flow 2" NPT male outlet, it provides the rapid drainage required for massive commercial sinks. The twist-action remote lever allows operators to drain the basin without reaching into hot or contaminated water, promoting superior workplace safety and hygiene. Constructed from durable cast bronze and stainless steel, it is designed for extreme longevity in demanding industrial environments.
Technician’s Note: The B-3992 is the core component for many custom commercial sinks. During installation, ensures the mounting flange is tightened hand-tight plus a quarter turn to prevents basin leaks. The 2" NPT outlet also features 1-1/2" female threads for maximum plumbing flexibility. Regularly inspect the internal plunger seat for food particles that can prevent a watertight seal. Polished stainless steel strainer provides a professional appearance.
