The T&S Brass B-3990-SB Modular Waste Drain combines high-performance drainage with superior debris management. This unit features a 3-1/2" sink opening and includes an integrated Basket Strainer to capture food particles before they enter the building plumbing. It is equipped with a 1-1/2" NPT adapter for versatile installation into standard drain lines. The remote twist-action lever provides a hygienic solution for draining prep sinks in high-volume restaurant kitchens and cafeteria sculleries. Constructed from heavy-duty brass and stainless steel.
Maintenance Tip: The basket strainer is the primary defense against grease-trap clogs and pipe obstructions—train staff to empty the basket regularly. The remote lever eliminates the need to reach into hot wash-water. Periodically check the lever linkage for smooth operation. Polished stainless steel finish on the strainer and basket is resistant to corrosive chemical cleaners and high water temperatures. Flush the drain body monthly.
