Technician’s Note: The vacuum breaker is a code-required component for many prep sinks to prevent back-siphonage. During installation, ensure the unit is mounted with the appropriate air-gap above the sink flood rim. The Cerama cartridges are nearly maintenance-free and the preferred choice for facilities with hard water or aggressive cleaning chemicals.
