Technician's Note: The RCUF1000 is usually mounted on a roof or an exterior wall. When installing, it is critical to use the correct Manitowoc pre-charged or field-installed line set to ensure proper refrigerant balance. Ensure the unit is level and has at least 24 inches of clearance around the coil for unobstructed airflow. Because this unit is exposed to the elements, we recommend a semi-annual inspection to clear away leaves or debris from the fins, which prevents high-head pressure issues and extends the life of your ice machine's compressor.
