Producing half dice ice, the Manitowoc Ice IYT-0620A-161/D-420 Indigo NXT™ ice maker with bin is perfect for applications that serve soft drinks and blended frozen drinks. Each day, the unit can make as much as 575 pounds of ice, based on time of day or volume. Ice thickness and consistency are measured by the acoustical sensing probe. Preventive maintenance runs to monitor the system, and the unit provides diagnostic feedback.
The ice machine head dispenses into a bin that is AHRI certified to hold 310 pounds of ice. Self-latching, the door stays open when the operator is scooping. The door is set at a 53-degree angle, so it is easy to access the bin bottom. A 5.3-pound-capacity scoop is included with the Manitowoc Ice IYT-0620A-161/D-420 ice maker with bin. Its molded-in retaining lip maximizes the scooping capacity, while the knuckle and thumb guard prevent cross contamination.
