The Manitowoc IDT-0420A-161/D-320 ice maker and bin can produce 470 pounds of ice a day and can store 264 pounds of ice. With its easyTouch® display screen, the user can monitor the unit’s operating status. Users can program the amount of ice produced by the self-contained air-cooled refrigeration system based on time and the amount of ice needed. An acoustical sensing probe measures the thickness of the ice to ensure identical cube sizes. The hinged front door provides access to the internal components, which can be removed for maintenance and cleaning.
The Manitowoc IDT-0420A-161/D-320 Indigo NXT™ ice maker and bin has a DuraTech™ exterior that protects the surface from corrosion and dirt. A clear-coat finish on the ice machine further protects the exterior by resisting fingerprints and streaks. The ice bin’s insulated door reduces sweat buildup and keeps ice cold. While scooping ice, the bin door can be propped open with its self-latch. Side grips in the bin door enable the user to open it from nearly any position. An ice scoop with a 5.3-pound capacity is included with a built-in holder.
