Does the add-on sensor need its own power supply or any setup?
It needs no separate power supply: LogiCO2 states the sensor receives its power from the existing Safety System. The sensor is pre-set to ID2. LogiCO2 says never to give two sensors the same ID, so change it if your system already has a sensor at ID2, and set the central unit to the number of sensors connected.
Where do the add-on sensor and its horn/strobe mount?
LogiCO2's manual puts the CO2 sensor at a maximum height of 30 cm (12 in) from the floor and no more than 5 m (16.4 ft) from the CO2 distribution point. The horn/strobe goes on the wall above the sensor, approximately 2 to 2.4 m (80 to 96 in) above the floor.
