A replacement detector for a LogiCO2 Mk9 safety system, or a single stand-alone CO2 alarm point. It reads CO2 by infrared and alarms at pre-set levels.
LogiCO2 supplies this sensor as a spare part without cable. It runs stand-alone or connected to the LogiCO2 Central Unit, on 24V DC from a separate transformer. Mount it no more than 12 in (30 cm) above the floor.
Features
- Monitors STEL and 8-hour TWA levels, so peaks and slow build-up both raise an alarm.
- Shows CO2 level and temperature at the sensor.
- Self-calibrates at regular intervals.

Frequently asked questions
Can the LogiCO2 Mk9 CO2 sensor work without a central unit?
LogiCO2 says it can be used as a stand-alone unit, connected to the LogiCO2 Central Unit, or as a sensor in a larger computerised monitoring system. The Mk9 manual adds that the sensor should be connected to a central unit for full functionality.
What comes in the box with the Mk9 CO2 sensor?
The detector only. LogiCO2's data sheet lists it as a spare part without cable, and a separate transformer supplies the 24 V power.
How high off the floor should the Mk9 CO2 sensor be mounted?
LogiCO2's manual gives a maximum height of 30 cm (12 in) from the floor and no more than 5 m (16.4 ft) from the CO2 distribution point. One sensor covers a maximum of 78 m2 (840 sq ft).
