The Lancer Universal Ice Machine Adapter Kit is a specialized load-bearing and sealing assembly for the Eclipse series. This kit allows for the secure mounting of various sized ice heads (from 16.5" to 44" wide) onto the dispenser bin. It includes heavy-duty rails to distribute the weight and high-density foam gaskets to provide an airtight thermal seal.
Problem Solved: Prevents 'bin-sweating' and moisture bypass at the ice machine interface. Without this kit, warm room air enters the bin, causing the ice to melt and 'clump,' which can jam the agitator motor. It also ensures the ice falls directly into the dispense auger path, preventing buildup in the bin corners.
Symptoms of Failure: Ice spilling from the top of the machine, water dripping from the bin ceiling onto the internal motors, or finding that the ice bin is constantly 'sweating' on the outside despite being insulated.
