The Lancer Spring for Check Valve is the essential tensioning component for the internal fluid-stop mechanism. This high-tensile stainless steel spring provides the physical force required to hold the check valve plunger against its seat, preventing the back-migration of carbonated water into the syrup lines.
Problem Solved: Prevents 'flavor-migration' and system pressure loss. Replaces springs that have lost their tension due to chemical fatigue, which allow fluids to bypass the check valve and contaminate the supply lines.
Symptoms of Failure: Finding 'watery' syrup in the lines, the BIB pump cycling on its own when the unit is idle, or finding bubbles in the syrup-in lines near the manifold.
