The Lancer Retainer Agitator Pin is a specialized mechanical locking fastener responsible for securing the agitator bars to the motor drive shaft. Engineered for high-vibration environments, it ensures the drive link stays in place while breaking up hundreds of pounds of ice daily.

Problem Solved: Restores the specific mechanical function and service life of your Lancer system. Replaces loose or missing pins that allow the agitator to slip, leading to 'ice bridging' where the bin remains full but no ice reaches the glass.

Symptoms of Failure: Motor humming without ice movement, audible mechanical clanking inside the bin, or the agitator bar disconnecting from the drive hub.

Technician’s Note: Never reuse a bent or stretched retainer pin. The centrifugal force of the ice wheel will eventually eject a compromised pin, which can then jam the dispense auger or fall into the customer's glass. Ensure the pin is fully clicked into the shaft groove.
