The Lancer Lid Back 22 Mercury22 is a sanitary protection cover designed to maintain thermal integrity and seal the ice storage bin from environmental debris. Manufactured from food-safe, high-impact polycarbonate, it creates a tight seal that prevents warm kitchen air from melting the ice bank.
Problem Solved: Prevents ice contamination and reduces refrigeration load by stopping warm air ingress into the storage area. Replaces warped or cracked lids that lead to rapid ice clumping and melting.
Symptoms of Failure: Broken or yellowed bin covers, rapid ice melt-down, or clumping in the bin caused by high ambient humidity ingress.
Technician’s Note: Hand wash with beverage-approved sanitizer only. High-temp dishwashers will cause the polycarbonate to 'craze' (develop micro-cracks) and become brittle over time.
