The Lancer 230V Dispensing Wheel (82-3413) is the primary mechanical rotor located at the base of the ice bin. It is responsible for physically capturing cube ice and rotating it into the dispense chute. This 230V version is engineered for international power configurations and high-efficiency domestic circuits, providing the necessary torque to break up ice clumps and ensure a consistent flow.
Symptoms of Failure: The most common symptom is the agitator motor humming while no ice is delivered to the chute. Inspect the center hub of the wheel; if the plastic is rounded or cracked, the motor shaft will spin freely without turning the wheel. If ice jams are frequent even with fresh ice, the fins on the wheel may be warped or broken, failing to properly 'dose' the ice into the chute.
